Cowans Countdown

Well folks our family plans for this Summer were to go to Florida to watch the shuttle launch scheduled for July 30th. God had other plans and instead we were together as a Family for nephew Stuart's wedding to Amy in Market Harbourough on 1st August and left for New Zealand to start Bible College on 2nd August! Andrew returned the same day to Edinburgh for work and Donald headed off for Spain via London to start his gap year.

Our business is being babysat by our friend Sarah, our car is being minded by our friend Cameron and our house is being occupied by our neighbour's son and his wife. Our Great Big Blog is being read by you ..... so thanks to everybody, but especially to God who has made all this possible despite having a very short time to change track.

  1. Les & Fiona -lovely to hear from you! Just amazing that you are already into studies in Corinthians when you only seem to have just left. So much in such a short time whilst we 've been entertaining family Anna , Alan, sheila (Anna's sis in law)plus three chn. Thomas was up for two days (with Minister of Educ.!)also Harmsworths passing through and now the Snowdons who we knew in Dhaka.
It was the county Show yesterday and perfect weather for it. The Churches Together tent was busy. Only got one chance there as we were manning the Asha stall in the craft tent. Off to Rousay to do the Westness Walk tomorrow! Swam in Waulkmill Bay today. M's at Samaritans and our visitors in bed. Must hit the sack myself. You will be rising on a new day. Trust and pray it is a good one for you as you learn to pronounce your neighbours' names and get stuck in to everything with your usual enthusiasm.
    Blessings and love, Rosey

  2. You Whittles are an inspiration to those of us who were contemplating an empty nest .. your nest is always full and never more so than in Pakistan. We think of you as we make our toast every day, God Bless! xx
