Always wondered about that song until I unpacked from being at home. Yes I too have diamond on the sole of my boot - anybody lose part of their decorations?

Had a lovely party as a send off for our friend who was going back home to China. We all got to make our own Chinese dumplings with personal instruction - if you ever want to see the video I am sure it can be arranged. Just can't promise they will taste quite so deelish. 

Time for bed... any takers?

Time for bed!! I have spent a couple of nights stitching to get this quilt finished - we have visitors coming on Sunday and it is a bit nippy - even in Madrid!

This is a first attempt at a big quilt so thanks to my long distance advisers - Anne and Gayle the Kiwi Quliters and to Joyce in Orkney for saying "Hid will be alright!"  Thanks too to Liz Fox for stitching the central Scottie with me at fellowship days and for the whole WEC team for being such good sports in piecing the first block. Now anybody want to sleep under it??

All we want for Christmas is a few front teeth

 
Santa and the tooth fairy obviously had a sacks-change this year and we all woke up to a mouthful of new chompers for Christmas Dinner. The winner however had to be Granny Nan!
